About Nana's Homestead

Nana's Homestead started the way most good things around here do — at the kitchen table, late in the evening, with more curiosity than know-how. One batch of soy wax and a handful of jars turned into a standing order from neighbors, then a booth at the county market, and eventually a little business with the family name on it.
Every candle and wax melt is still made the same way: measured, poured, labeled and boxed by hand. We work in small batches and give each item careful attention before it leaves the homestead.
We pour in small runs, which means scents come and go with the seasons. If something is sold out, it usually means it is already back on the workbench.
